Oh Erin, I'm so sorry about Maci. Reading your tribute makes me realize how much we actually do treat our pets like real people, even when we don't think we do. I love that picture of her under the Christmas tree, it brought tears to my eyes. I'm sure that she's resting as peacefully now as she looks in that picture.

ERN: I am sorry to hear about macy, Lauren and I were trying to think optimistically, but you had so many good years together and that is a blessing in itself. I know that Maci is very happy where ever she is...and talking up a storm about how loved she was and how lucky she was and how she had the bestest family. {{{hugs}}} to you all!
