Nasvhille Solo (Not a) Tour Broad's Eye View Report
Since we at LBFCA stopped posting BEVR's on the mainpage and instead opened up a BEVR guestbook, I stopped writing concert reports. Now I regret not doing so because as I continue to acquire more Clay Aiken concerts under my belt, I start to forget the details of each one that made it special.
I have searched through the purple pages and pulled cellcerts that I gave and posts that I made from and about the Nashville Solo NAT concert.

First I call Robin from the concert. The following is her post:
OMG! I am listening to SHINE!!!!!!!!! And I am so in love with Erin and Killer D!
As amazing as Shine was, Kyrie blew me away! I really think I could smell him thru the phone... sweet, sweet sweat! Erin kept screaming, "OMG Robin, HE'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!." Can you imagine, Erin & Killer D...front row!!! I KNOW they can smell him!

Then I call Wendy. The following is her post:
OKAY BROADS ...
Young man was brought onstage to perform Invisible. He did such a good job .. that Clay was giggling and laughing after he left the stage ... heard it with mah own ears ...
I heard James Taylor set and OMG ... he sounds so good ... and then MOAM ... and now RTM ...
ERIN IS THE BOMB!!!
Love you AND Killer D ... have a blast!!!

Next I called Lisa, but evidently the cellcert was so exciting that she was too busy to post on the purple pages.

Lastly, I called Nelle. The following is her post:
YWT cellcert now...really beautiful, soft, then swelling to soaring, lovely melody....awesome!
Crowd loving YWT....big screams for LOG glory note...then, it gets soft again....Erin says it's breathtakingly beautiful.....big screams at the end...
I can hear the TITN video intro....I love hearing Clay's voice, even a recording of him talking...huge screams during this.....
This is the Night...
I'm all choked up listening to this....so many memories...every kiss is a kiss you can never get back....
TITN was GREAT!!!! Clay sounds absolutely wonderful tonight...I don't know what he was doing...but for 'hold me close to your heart' final verse the crowd was sca-reeming....huge screams at end of song....
Talking about the whirlwind this year has been....thanking the fans.....I love him!
Invisible! sounds really good....
Erin says she just got eyef**ked 'so bad.' He had his eyes....something, couldn't understand her, but I think it was good! ;-)
Heee, it's like the screams wave through the crowd....must vary on which way he is facing, clutching, eyef**king!

He said something....probably goodbye or thank you...huge huge screams.....wahoo'ing, and whistling....chanting, Clay Clay Clay Clay
Solitaire....deep voice Clay *sigh* sounds really good...OMG, the glory note is in.cred.i.ble.
I'm shaking, and I'm not even there!
Incredible screams, I can hear women screaming, 'Oh my god!'
In fact, all Erin can say is, "Oh my gawd." She says she can't even walk! Her knees are weak and she's trembling.

A couple of hours later I finally arrive back at my aunt and uncle's home in Nashvile and post about my concert experience that night. The following is my post:
OMG! Tonight was amazing. Diana K. and I have settled on two words that some up the evening: a look and a lick." Killer and I were privy to our very own EF. While he was sitting on the stool (with a just a tad bit of his left cheek hanging off the side that I kept staring at just because of Kat) singing MOAM, Diana K. wiping the tears from her face caught his eye and stared at her and sung a line or two from the song. So special. And then me during Invisible where at this point we had moved back to our rightful place on the front row (the seating situation at the venue was whack). As he walks across the stage in front of us, I catch his eye and our eyes connect and he holds it for what seemed like forever, but in reality was a very generous five seconds. All the while singing, walking in front of me and giving me this look. This look that I cannot describe. I saw a part of George in it.
It was the most intimate moment I've shared with him. More than the winking and giggling and shaking of his finger he did to Robin and I in Memphis last year. Even more than seeing him leaving after Frosty and telling him we loved him and he loved us. I would say that I close my eyes and feel his eyes on me, staring. But I'm seeing them right now with my eyes wide open.
Okay, I really should shut up and leave some for the forthcoming BEVR. But let me just say, I didn't miss the grinding. Not one bit. This concert was so much better than the Independent Tour. It was just so him. So gorgeous. And yes Nelle that whole last section of the concert took my breath away. At the end I couldn't walk, my knees were so weak and I was having a hard time speaking coherently. Clay laughing during the look-a-like Matt's performance was a highlight as well.
But those linen pants. Were just, just so....thin. RSTTB Joe has these really tight pants which I nicknamed his "porno pants." Well, I found Clay Aiken's porno pants. Lisa, I apologize profusely for my comments during your cellcert! I had no idea the little BIT was listening. Oh well, I guess I covered at least part of the birds and the bees lesson.
Love to all the Nashville Broads! See you back on the pp's next week. I'm heading to the beach for the weekend. And who doesn't need a vacation after tonight's performance.

re: Waldo sightings last night: I could not believe my eyes last night and had to confirm with Diana that I was seeing what I was seeing. I started snapping pictures like a crazy woman, shooting from the neck down. I am hoping that at least one will turn out since I was using a disposable camera. I will upload any that are decent. Umm, make that indecent.
I forgot to mention the tongue. While he was dancing The Shag with Quianna his tongue was rolling all around his mouth. It was so cute. And hot.
Have fun in North and South Carolina all my Southern Broads. I will miss you all immensely!
